Hi all,

I just bought a base model 2.8ghz 4 core Mac Pro with 3 GB of RAM.

I want to put at least 8 GB of ram in it.
Tried Crucial's UK website but they are out of stock.
Anyone got an alternative for me?
I am in the UK so something in Europe would probably make sense.

Many thanks.

I'm in the UK. I recently bought from OWC. You get more RAM for your money there compared to crucial and the import was pretty effortless and worked out cheaper than imagined.

Delivery options, choose Fed Ex. They take care of the import and bill you for it. I bought 24GB RAM and two Mercury Pro RE's and the import on that, which is a sizeable order came to £178

Totaly recommended and of corse quality RAM.

Thanks mate.

Just ordered enough ram to get me by- even with priority shipping it worked out pretty cheap.

Thanks for your help.
