I know I have a 2020 for myself but I thought at least it would have been Big Sur. There isn't an option to pick Big Sur as an upgrade only Monterey. Monterey is a little buggy, memory leak but faster than Catalina.Catalina is what the 2020 27” iMacs originally came with. Should be fine. I suggest upgrade to big sur only. Trust me, you don’t want Monterey yet, not until they have fixed the major bugs

It's probably been sitting around in stock for a while as you would have to be crazy to pay full price for one now with a major refresh coming next year.Just bought a Imac 27 inch from Apple on November 27th 2021 but it came with Catalina OS? Is that correct or should it have been Monterey?
