Haven't even unboxed it yet but I have a question.

I have a normal PC laptop and everything is backed up on a External HDD. I want to make ONE folder on the mac and put all my pc back up in there which is all my documents, music photos etc. How do I do this? Where do I put it.?

Also if I drag my music into this folder, will itunes recognise it and put everything onto itunes the way I like it? I have itunes set up on the pc just perfect, music, podcasts and all my album artwork. If I drag this all over into this one file I am making will the Mac recognise it and make the itunes right for me?

Thanks

Yes, you can do that, just plug-in the ext HD. Copy the whole iTunes folder from the PC and paste it in /user/Music/iTunes, and everything should remain the same

I have just switched the iMac on and done the updates.

Can someone please explain to me just what I need to get off the PC and put on the Mac to get iTunes the way it is on the PC. I need step by step instructions of where the folders are on the PC and where they go on the MAc. I am a comp;ete newbie on the mac and not so good on the PC so need some help please.

Do I need to put all my music on the mac or will coppying the folder across include the music with it.

Sorry to be a pain but I have Aspergers so dont fully understand what I need to do unless they are given to my point for point.

Thanks Simon
