Just bought a new mac. 3.2GHz QC i5, TB up to 3.6GHz,8GB 1867MHz DDR3L (2x4GB),1TB Fusion Drive, AMD Radeon R9 M380 w/2GB. Will make the switch from windows to Mac. What do you guys think? Was this a good buy?
I bought it for daily usage. Social media, music, work related stuff. My old pcI think you will enjoy it......what will you use it for? That will tell if it is sufficient for your needs.
I just did the same for my ailing PC, and I'm currently running the imac and PC side-by-side (the PC hasn't died yet). My imac config is in my sig. it is more than enough for me.....YMMV.

I picked 1 tb fusion because I heard that was the best thing for my budget. I usually will only use social media. Read articles and job related stuff. I am a tech person but don't know to much about them.1 TB Fusion drive wouldn't be my choice considering you only get a 24 GB SSD. Better than having none, but not by much.
Other than that, looks like a good Mac; although whether the specs are adiquite depends entirely on how you plan to use it.
