i realize this is most likely a stupid question but...does the value of AAPL stock have anything to do with the amount of products they sell?
Nope. It's all about the amount of products they will sell in the future.
Very good basic concept . . . the market is forward looking, not past or current.
2010 is going to be interesting since Apple won't be participating in Macworld, so there might not be the traditional trading flury in the week before Macworld scheduled for February, or it's going to take on some new process.
I guarantee you that the stock will probably dip just before WWDC but after then new products are announced the price will jump back up and increase by 10-15%
ummm..you do know...ah nvm..
Given that the stock has only hit $200 once in history, not sure if that was the greatest decisions. Tablet might change some of this.
