Just added to my AAPL holdongs at $193 on Dec 9, 2009. Short term or long term, vote if this is a good ime to buy.

I marked "future fuzzy"

however, I do believe that the stock will stay around $200 until the new iPhone and tablet come out at the beginning of Q3. At which point it would not surprise me to see the stock jump up to near $250.

i realize this is most likely a stupid question but...does the value of AAPL stock have anything to do with the amount of products they sell?

Nope. It's all about the amount of products they will sell in the future.

ohh okay. to be honest i don't know a whole lot about the stock market, how it works and such. i wish i did though. (only 17, so i guess that's not too bad that i'm clueless)

Very good basic concept . . . the market is forward looking, not past or current.

2010 is going to be interesting since Apple won't be participating in Macworld, so there might not be the traditional trading flury in the week before Macworld scheduled for February, or it's going to take on some new process.

I believe that the stock will dip just before WWDC but after then new products are announced the price will jump back up and increase by 10-15%

EDIT: hope the edits calmed everybody down.

Looks as though the stock closed at an all time high today. nearly $249. not bad for a 25% increase in a matter of months. congrats on buying at sub $200 prices. I would be surprised if the stock dipped below the $200 mark before the next bubble bursts.
