Just bought IM+

I think it's cool so far, I was stuck in a decision between IM+ and Beejive, I was leaning towards beejive then decided IM+ has slightly better functionality, and price justification.Cant complai at £2.99

2 improvements I think is needed, is the ability to have a display picture when signed into IM+

Ability to change notification sounds

And the ability to change font colour,style,size

Speaking of IM+ though, I just switched back tonight because Beejive is pretty much crap.
I see nothing but spinners and failed messages even though I have full service. I really hope they get an update out soon...

IM+'s icon is pretty ugly. But BeeJive is too expensive...

I bought both, but I gravitate towards beejive more thaN IM+. I'M+ was my backup when beejive was having problems with push, but lately I haven't had to use it in a couple of weeks.

I would always recommend beejive over IM+ anyday.

I just hope they do something with the alert sound in a coming update. I just restored from jailbreak last night and don't feel like doing it again.

I got booted a few times last night, was kind of irritating. If IM+ would mature their GUI and fix buddy icons etc... id switch.

meh i've no problems with IM+ besides its jesus fish icon. i used to like beejive but it seems much less reliable.

Yeah I think this app's biggest problem is the lack of auto-reconnect. Sure, Beejive gets it's random disconnects but I hardly ever know about it. With IM+ I'll go in to talk to somebody and realize that I'm not even online and I have no idea how long I've been out.

I also agree with the lack of buddy icons being a weakness.

And there is something about the chat bubbles... Another interesting app coming out at some point is the new mobilechat... new ownership - or so they claim... Probably the same clowns.

Emailed them a few weeks ago, they said still being developed.

It always had the best UI by a long shot, just never had the server stability or the programming.

IM+ is not connecting at all for me right now, constantly says 'Restoring'.

Its now £2.99? Thats news to me, last time I checked they wanted about a fiver for it and I wasnt willing to pay that despite wanting to see what its like. But 2.99 somehow seems a bit more reasonable. Might have to check it out, do you think its a big improvement over IM+ Lite?
