from Toys r us for £299! Bit of a bargain, it was the last one too, not the display model. It's still sealed up in the outer brown packaging. Just waiting for my eight year old daughter to go to bed (it's her xmas pressie) so I can try it out, make sure it works etc. :)

For that price I thought it was worth it as she always wants to go on my iMac and I'm not keen on that! :D

Best bit is that I persuaded my parents to pay for half of it!

Did anyone else take advantage of this offer from Toys r us?

I was about to, was even about to drive about 60 miles to the Londonderry store but unfortunately by the time I'd dilly dallied around deciding whether to get one or not, they'd sold out online. In the end I ordered the cheapest current-spec model from Apple with Higher Education discount which didn't make it too much more than the Toysrus deal...

Was a cracker deal while it lasted! I hope it works out well for you, mine's turning out to be my ideal media centre setup!

It is a bargain but i just spent all my money on an iMac, would make well a good christmas present. I would be so pleased if it were me getting it and i'm 22 and have an iMac already.
