I just opened my shuffle 4G, and it looks to me like under the clip, there is a big sticker covering the back, but I can't seem to get it, so I'm not entirely sure if it's a sticker I should be trying to pick at or not, because picking at it isn't getting me anywhere...?

I don't think its a sticker. Looking at my shuffle, I can see what you mean, though. I think it's just where the two bits of metal are joined together, and the seam isn't that neat.

Yeah I don't think it is either...it looked like there was a little bit of adhesive around the edge, so I cleaned that off and now it looks fine.

Unlike a lot of the older iPods, the new ones are pretty much held together by glue.

- The back of the Nano and Shuffle are held on entirely by glue.
- The new iPod touch is held together by a lot of glue. A friend of mine repairs computers and iPods, and he says you have to melt the glue with a heat gun to get inside.
