I was really clueless to buy these speakers or not. I knew they were very high quality, one of the best set of speakers out there, and I knew they would last me for years but the price put me off. I was really going back and forth unsure whether to buy them.

Well, last week I bit the bullet and ordered them from Amazon. They arrived today and I have set them up with my iBook, and they are amazing.

I am by no means an audiophile but they just sound great. In the middle of a song, I unplugged the speakers to hear a comparison with my iBook, and the iBooks speakers are no comparison what-so-ever!

I can't wait to watch a DVD with them.

One thing I noticed was that in sound preferences, the sound output was a tad to the right instead of the center. When I changed this, the speakers sounded ever better.

It's a shame that my work phoned me up to do over time today and I have to leave in about an hour, so I won't get to play with them much today!

Do you have these speakers? What do you think of them? Do they have a warranty, if so for how long?

Thanks for any info,

Shaun.

They are good, but...

Yes I have this sound system hooked to my iMac. It sounds and looks really good :)

But you have to find a spot where the sound quality is maximum and that is pretty hard to do, especially after you whipe the dust of you desk. Even the slightest move from your "perfect spot" would decrease the quality. This is explained by the Odyssey-type speakers though. Thats the sacrifice of the small size
