Hi all,

I just purchased a iphone 1G refurb from apple. I am currently out of contract with ATT (still have service). Would I be able to activate the phone and *not* sign a two year contract. Also, I can remove the internet plan from the service correct?

Thanks!

Btw, do I need a new sim card? My current one is from cingular.

Where did u order it from???I don't see any refurbs...please publish link.

you should be able to jailbreak / unlock/ and use the same sim card. If you plan on using the web, you'll need a data package though!

The refurbs sold out in less than 20min last time they were up (when I got mine).

Does anyone have a link on where/how to insert the sim card into the iphone?

use a needle or a stick pin in the top hole next to the power off button....
