As you said "its just wordpress", but that makes sense for a personal site/blog.
You used pretty clean and simple template, that's plus.

BTW, why redirection to get to the main site?

Yeah, what is the point in the redirection page? It's kinda annoying and it's not actually re-directing to a different domain or anything.

Always use 0 second redirects (if you have to use them at all, I'm certainly guilty though).

Agreed. It reminds me of old splash pages that, thankfully, have gone the way of the Dodo....lose the redirect. :)

So you have a redirect page which really shouldn't be there, and then wordpress with a default template. I don't mean to be harsh, but I don't see why you would even post this.

Yeah I tried to change the theme but it didnt work so Im just taking it down and trying it again later.

Ok ok ok I had major problems with it because godaddy hosting had a problem with wordpress and I had to put a redirect page but now I don't and now I can change the theme fine now ok :D! So check it out now http://joebaynham.net

Not bad, although it could use more "life" stuff for content because it'd be original. Too many Apple blogs out there.
