Just got a mate to get me a 32GB iPad from New York.. in the UK in 2 days :D

Just found out a friend of mine is in New York.. Just bank transfered the money over now i am the owner of a 32GB iPad and the official apple case.. all in for £450.. good times! Can't wait to use it! :D:apple:
 
Doesn't the 32gb work out around £391? Surely the case isn't £59?

Or have you added tax too?

Yeah that's with tax added mate.. so excited, i was so close to getting my friend over in NY to post me one over.. but i really didn't wanna pay postage and customs.. i am so happy :D

Hi,

I have a friend in NYC too and I want him to sand me an iPad to Spain. Which taxes are those that you mentioned? Only the shipping or also customs?

That's just New York tax! It's around 10% i think.. my friend is gonna stick it in her suitcase so hopefully i will avoid import tax etc.
 
Ok so I now have it and I am genuinely blown away. The keyboard is amazing the apps are fantastic and the screen is beautiful. I love apple :) I am currently typing this from the IM+ built in browser whilst chatting ton my friends. This is incredible :)
