Just got a new iMac and Internet running super slow on it...

I just picked up the 2.8GHz 24" iMac, plugged everything in and bam... internet is working like crap. It seems every 3 minutes the internet decides to take a break and simply will not work, even though in the system preferences it says my internet connection is working normal.

I know my internet connection is normal, because on my 2 other PC laptops everything works fine.

Is there something I can do about it?

I had a similar experience on my iMac 24". When I first installed Leopard internet was really slow but after a day or so and a restart, web browsing etc was running at full speed.
