Just got a new 6 and I'm wanting to redo my JB. I know that if I upgrade to 8.1.2 then my only option is TaiG. But TaiG doesn't have a program for Mac (and I honestly don't want to deal with all the VM stuff just for a jailbreak). Is there any real benefit to upgrading? Or should I just stay on 8.1.1 since I can use Pangu and JB hassle-free.

Sorry - just realized Pangu doesn't work with 8.1.1 - so it looks like it's no JB for me

Yeah but I was wanting to avoid TaiG because I don't have a VM or anything set up to run Windows. I'll give it a couple days to see if I can live w/out the JB.

Surely there must be a computer running Windows in your vicinity, which you could borrow just long enough for the 5 minutes jailbreaking takes. :p

For some reason I never even considered this. Used a computer at work and was jailbroken within minutes. All is good now.
