I am wondering if anyone can help me out. I am trying to sync my iPad to my computer in order to put some pictures onto the iPad as well as some videos I took with my iPhone. When I go to the iPad window in iTunes, and select the folder I want to sync with... it only puts the photos on and not the videos, even though I have selected "include videos". Am I missing something totally obvious?

Thanks so much!

Yeah, you're going to have to make sure the videos are iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad compatible. If they won't import onto the iPhone or Touch, you don't have compatible files.

Start converting. hahaha. Have fun with that long encoding.

I have got the same problem! Cant sync ipad OR iphone with pics AND videos. (NOT movies, but VIDEOS!). I have had the problem for quite some time and cant figure out how to solve it. When not marking the area for " include videos" the pics sync just fine. But when i mark it both the pics and videos cant sync. Very frustrating. And it has nothing to do with the videos not being compatible or in the right formar or anything. Got lots of iphone vids that wont sync.
So; cant help you but just saying i have got the same issues here!

Yeah I am just trying to load videos I took with my iPhone. I can get them onto the iPad, but not the videos AND the pictures from iPhoto (is it even possible to get pictures into iTunes? not as far as I know...).

Glad to hear I am not the only one.

Try dragging and dropping the videos. As far as pictures it took my iPad like 45 min the first time I synched pictured but every since then I been good.

Ok thanks I will try that.

Hopefully the iPad will get an update soon to make this all more clear...

(What is up with not being able to delete photos from the iPad if they were synced from iPhoto?...)

eum...

you do realise that the videos checkbox is for... you know...

the videos you've got loaded in itunes???

it doesnt automatically add videos from a folder

in the same way it doesnt automatically add music from a folder

you import music, you import video into itunes and then sync

Hmm, I actually didn't know this, so thank you for the heads up!
