Just got back from AT&T store and not good news

I just got back from my AT&T store and the manager stated are you here to w8...IM like nope not yet but wanting to see what is in store...She couldnt comment of coarse but stated they think maybe 20-30 phones at best...I stated, "Why stay open till 10 then." She stated we will be taking fill orders to have them shipped to the persons house. She said that would take anywhere from 1-2 wks. Im like hell to the no.....

So I guess I might be w8ing all night...Who knows yet...Im going to drive by the store at 10 just to see tonight...I will be furious If Im 21th in line and they are sold out...No wonder riots take place

wow i feel like an idiot. i actually understood it normally. anyway, that sucks, but att dude might be judging solely on today's shipment.

Is that the only AT&T store in your area and what is the population.
 
Seriously, why start a thread about a non-news item you have irrational anger about? If the store is sold out, go to another store or wait. What do you expect, that fairies will make iPhones around the clock so you would be guaranteed one?
 
The manager at the AT&T store near my home stated they are only getting approx 20 phones. I live in Fort Worth Texas. Their selling hours are from 6pm till 10pm. If the phones are not in stock they will be filling orders to be shipped to your home during the remaining store hours.
 
Go to an Apple Store and go home with an iPhone...

it's that simple, unless you don't have one available in your area. AT&T is rumored to not have nearly the supply of the Apple stores, not even remotely close...seriously. That's all I can say.

AT&T guy at 6:02 -- "Look I'm sorry but that's all the iPhones we had! Sir, that's a plastic model of an iPhone for display! Please don't break that! And all of you stop yelling! Your iPhone will be shipped in 4-6 weeks!!" :rolleyes:
 
just back the tip from ATT, no too cool with my tip boy says phones will be < 1000 units maybe 24-31 units, most 8 gig but 4 gig two. need caution sales rep said was manager but they didn't no four sure. warning again too other models on sale my be cheaper but less kewl. i flipped at this 411, buggers down on that! maybe wait early for a mailed unit? i opted for freebee instead, least the battery is removable.*
