Just got my 3GS and is having problem

I just got my factory unlock 3gs today. I do know that i can't JB my 3gs at the moment. But my problem is that I restore my phone from my JB3G. My carrier logo and iBlank from previous iphone (3g) is being carry over to my 3GS now even though it's NOT JB. I assume there might be other JB that is carry over too but i haven't realize it YET.

I know if i do not restore from my iphone 3G to iphone 3GS then it should be fine but i NEED my contact, SMS, etc.

What should i do?

If you restore a 3GS from a 3G backup your battery life will suck.

The 3G used a different power profile than the 3GS and unfortunately that carries over on a restore from backup. AFAIK they haven't fixed it on 3.1.

SMS you can't but contacts are on your computer.

If your battery seems fine I wouldn't worry about it.

If you have your JBen 3G try uninstalling the mods you want to remove, back that up, and restore from it.
