I just got my macbook and can already here mooing is that normal? ALso there is a white spot on the outer rim of the screen is that normal?

gloss said:The mooing is a heat issue. Mine usually only starts mooing (softly) if I'm using it on a cushion or blanket of some sort, which interferes with the cooling. Try tilting the machine slightly toward you to help the hot air move through the vents.

The fan spins up, then winds down quickly, and the overall effect is very much like a cow mooing.
