I just got my macbook and can already here mooing is that normal? ALso there is a white spot on the outer rim of the screen is that normal?

The mooing is a heat issue. Mine usually only starts mooing (softly) if I'm using it on a cushion or blanket of some sort, which interferes with the cooling. Try tilting the machine slightly toward you to help the hot air move through the vents.
no, neither is normal. My macbook displays neither of those issues. My ibook had screen issues like yours until apple fixed it, and it drove me nuts. A lot of people don't even seem to notice or mind that brightness, though.
A slight Moo is normal when the fans come on, you cant expect it to be totally silent all the time...A slightly louder mooing may come when the optical drive is spinning up...

yeah i just discovered that mine is totally ****** up. whine, moo, case not flush all the way around, AND it's warped. I'm gonna be in line at 9am tomorrow morning at the apple store to get a replacement.

Yes, actually. It happened to me a couple of days ago and I spent the first minute or so going 'Hey, it DOES sound like a Moo.'
The fan spins up, then winds down quickly, and the overall effect is very much like a cow mooing.

Some people have had issues with it more than others. It's heat-related, but some MacBooks seem more prone to kicking in the fans. Whether it's needed or not, I don't know.
With mine it happens under processor load and/or when the machine is on something soft (like a pillow or blanket) that inhibits its heat dissipation. Leaning it forward (so the hot air inside the machine could escape more readily through the rear vent) made it go away.
Generally speaking, the machine is (or should be) dead quiet. Even when my MB does moo it's very, very soft, only noticable because it normally doesn't make a sound.
So far not heard any moos. I'm out in the countryside with cattle all around so I should be able to recgonise a moo
My macbook is extremely quiet apart from disc reading on the superdrive, but that just sounds like a disc reading / spinning rather than a moo or anything.
There are good macbooks out there, so if yours has any issues, get onto Apple straight away. Do so out of your two week period and your screwed for an automatic exchange...

Ok now I have another issue, when I press above my screen next to the black strips it makes a clicking noise, anyone else experiencing this?
