I just moved from my old 12" Rev. E PowerBook G4 to a Black Santa Rosa MacBook...

I purchased it with 1 Gig of RAM installed and ordered the 4GB kit from Crucial, which will arrive in Washington on Monday for me to install. I'm wondering because I haven't done this in a while - where are there instructions on how to install the RAM? Also does anybody know of what I can do with the 512 sticks that are going to come out of this? What other computers can they go in?

Thanks for your help!

Your old ram will basically be useless for anyone with a recent laptop since 2x512 sticks are pretty much standard now.

yeah keep the RAM just in case you need to take it in... theres been stories of apple techs blameing 3rd party ram for technical issues.
