Just Got my New MB

Hello! After being here for the last 2 months (lol stealthy) today I got the New MB at the apple store. It is amazing I can say. 2.16 GHZ and 1GB ram! This computer will belong to my dad in the next months because when I leave to college Ill be getting a MBP. This is an amazing computer! And for all of you who are hesitating in buying one, go buy one right now! Ok, I have a few questions for u guys:
Which updates are NECESSARY for my computer? The airport update seems to have some problems, so I am not going to update it. I am using airport right now with the hotel wireless and its awesome, no problems!

Also, which applications are u guys using? I would like to have the temperature widget, the battery one, and other cool apps u guys have in case I am interested.

Won't that depend on what you want to do with the MB? It makes little sense to suggest apps that you won't want/need.

Check https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/226403/ for app recommendations. I'll bet you like free stuff and lots of it is listed there.

Do i have to download each individual update incrementally (1.1, 1.2 or 2007-001, 2007-002) or jut download the latest one released?
