Hey guys!

I got my refub. MBP with specs:

2.16ghz, 1GB RAM, 100GB HD, 15.4" glossy screen

The exterior is perfect, not a single scratch, looks like new. I've been using it for a couple days and it works perfect, I added 1GB RAM and it's way faster than expected, I'm very happy with it.

As for the known issues, I was very suspicious about the whine, moo, heat, etc... I "think" I heard some whine when I turned it on for the first time (before the software updates) but maybe it was just my imagination because I didn't hear it again.

It is warm though, way warmer than my gf's MB but nothing that I cannot handle. I've been ripping/compressing DVDs for about an hour now and it stays around 60 C.

I'd definitly recommend refurb. products anytime!

Congrats on your purchase!

I've also had a positive experience with Apple refurbs -- I've only purchased one refurbished item (an iPod), but it's been relatively problem free.

I only wish the refurb. prices were a bit lower ... ;)

I purchased a refurbished iMac G5 for my father; it's been working out well. While he's new to the Mac platform, there is no doubt he doesn't miss windows.

I too, then, will add my kudos to refurbs (as you both have put it). :)

All refurbished products is checked by Apple, so they should be just as "perfect" as the new ones. I sure wish Apple would expand their refurbished deals to Denmark. But noooooooo

Grats on your purchase :)
