Got the 2.53 with 2-3 day shipping .... hope it arrives by Friday :D

I've been patiently waiting for three weeks when I spilled water on my old macbook (may it rest in peace) and insurance reimbursed me.

Anyone else order one?

I'm waiting on hold trying to figure out when my local store gets them, so I can exchange my old 13inch macbook :( I WANT THE BACKLIT KEYBOARD!

Did they give you an ETA? If so I'm ordering a 17" MBP with education pricing if they can get it to me by Friday.
 
I also just placed an order on the 2.53 ghz 13" uMBP! Estimated delivery = 11/6 wohoo! Im so glad that i waited for WWDC, i can only imagine the regret i would have felt now if i bought the 2.0 ghz yesterday!

It says 24 hour ship date and arrival of June 10-11

I got the education deal with the free ipod touch ... 1728 total with tax.
 
Just bought one as well. 13" 2.53 Ghz. I'm stoked about the new battery, better display, firewire and SD card slot. All in all an excellent update overall!!
 
It's still a shame that the matte display is only on the 17" notebook. I will, though, probably be ordering one of these soon as my current macbook is over three years old and beachballing all over the place. They look like nice machines, again.
 
Yep I will be going to the store tonight to buy (assuming they have one). They tweaked it perfectly for me. Firewire, nicer screen and better battery life (not bothered that it's not removable).

Extra ram in the better model means I can pick it up direct from the store as well. No need to BTO it.
 
If anyone gets one from an Apple Store today please post to this thread. I'd like to go pick one up myself!
 
I have an purchasing appt. for tomorrow morning.:D but I called the Apple store and they don't have any yet, :(
Told me to call back later. They haven't heard from corporate yet:mad:
 
When the unibody's were first introduced I was able to purchase a 13" that same day. I'd imagine certain Apple stores (depending on region) will have the new MacBook Pro's today as well.
 
Congrats to everyone that is getting a 13" MBP. I am sure you will, but make sure you tell us all about it! I am still happy with my 15", but that 13" will be nice!
 
I ordered the entry level 13inch MBP as is, estimated delivery is the 10th-11th. I just sold my old macbook with 2.16 C2D GMA950 for $800 this morning, so I was ready to go as soon as they made their announcements!

Better display? It could be a bad one, they never mentioned it at the wwdc. Probably going to be like the new improved displays of the uMBs but i look forward to the first reviews.

I am getting mine this week. After 2 months of patient waiting, finally an update! I will post my order info the second i buy it.

BTW, this will be my first mac! i used to rent the white macbook from my college and i fell in love with macs, so im a new switcher!

will definitely post on my new mac experience wen i get my new 13 inch macbook pro!
