As the title mentions, I just had my Airpod Pro's replaced under warranty for the crackling sound issue. I'm kind of concerned this is just going to creep up again on me in due time but by then my warranty will be gone. Is there any tips for how to avoid this issue going forward?

Both of mine contracted the death rattle in summer of 2020 and were replaced. So far, they’ve been fine. I know that others have had multiple replacements, but just pointing out that sometimes once is enough. I do plan to get some new ones as soon as the next gen is available. Hopefully they were able to engineer out whatever was failing in the first gen.

I've had my AirPod Pro's replaced twice now. I must have hit the jackpot because set #3 just started doing it again earlier this week. Now it's to the point where calls are super crackly and I hear weird popping noises every time I move my head even slightly. Time to get another set replaced lol.
