Just installed GTX680, no fan peak at start up?

I've just installed a GTX 680 on my 2009 mac pro. I've flashed it with the mac bios and everything seems to be fine apart from on start up it doesn't seem to do the fan peak (when the fans ramp up and then settle down).

It seemed to do this before it was flashed as well, so it wasn't the flash that did it.

Has anyone else experienced this, is it normal behavior with the 680?

Strange mine does that its a EVGA card that I flashed not sure why your card isn't running high fan on boot?

Interesting you mention this; I can distinctly remember my flashed 680 used to max the fans on startup or wake, but doesn't any more. Not sure what changed, can't even put my finger on when it was.

Could it have been a change in a logic board firmware update somewhere?
