Just installed Starcraft on macbook... not working, need help

I just purchased Starcraft Battlechest, installed starcraft and broodwar expansion set on my mac book with OS X 10.5.7. The installation was completed, and I clicked on the "Play Starcraft" option, and nothing happened. I am unable to play it and I have no idea what is wrong. Does anyone have any ideas?
