And so far everything's been great! If I do decide to download 7.1.2 and re jailbreak, do I have to download all the tweaks and themes again?

Also, how do I pay for the cydia apps? I've noticed it's not the same for iTunes and I would have to log in?

I've also downloaded Bytafont 2 and installed a font, but how do I apply it?

You can use Amazon Credit or Paypal to pay for some of the tweaks that have a price.

Not to sure about the re-downloading if you upgrade to 7.1.2 - I am on 7.1.1 and i finally have my jailbreaking tweaks i had last time, and i am not willing to do an upgrade to 7.1.2 if there is a chance Pagu's jailbreak won't be compatible with it.
Its up to you if you want to upgrade. I don't use my iPhone on the net anyway, so I won't have an issue with nagging updates from Apple about 7.1.2 :)

Thanks! As far as paypal, would I be able to use a credit card to pay for them? I'm kinda new to this, so I'm not quite sure how it works.

You create your paypal account and link your credit card(s) to it and every time you make a payment using the system you are redirected to paypal where all you have to input is your login data, thus making your CC safer (you have to understand all your info is always at risk on the net, systems like paypal make it safer)

Cydia's payment system is not like Apple's. It's either Paypal, which as has already been pointed out you link a credit card to or using Amazon's payment system.

There is no central Cydia structure that handles CC payments directly.

Note also that while you can link a credit card to Paypal, it's main purpose is providing funds directly from your bank account (while hiding your bank account information) for purchases on the net.

As to reinstalling tweaks if you upgrade and re-jailbreak - yes. There are backup options in Cydia however. You can download and use one of those tweaks or apps and backup your stuff before proceeding.

One last word of caution. Cydia is a catchall. You are going to find a lot of tweaks and apps that are "outdated" or don't apply to you. That's because Cydia supports iPhones and their jailbreaks from most versions of iOS. There are still people using iOS 4 and below and they are jailbroken. So Cydia keeps those things up. My point in this is to do your research. Installing stuff that won't work on your iPhone can seriously screw things up.
