Just Jailbroke 3g 2.1- Paid apps won't sync

Hello,

I just jailbroke my iPhone 3g and the process was pretty simple. The issue I am having though is that I cannot sync any of my paid apps that I had prior to jailbreaking. Everything else syncs. I can't purchase apps on the phone also. It says that they will be downloaded when I log into my itunes account on my comp. The error is 0xE(00002E). I have found this error on the internet, but I have seen no clear fix for this.

Any insight will be a big help.

Are you suggesting to do a full restore, then attempt the jailbreak again?

I saw that error even before jailbreaking.

Eventually, it just fixed itself.

You could try a restore, to see if it helps, but it isn't guaranteed.

Ok. I just did the jailbreak over again and it worked. That error does show up for some people who have never done a jailbreak in their life. Guess that it is just hit or miss

It isn't exclusive to jailbreakers, although jailbreaking may be one of the things that trigger it. :shrug:
