just jailbroke, want to know few things please

first love being jailbroke, second tho would love to figure out how to do a few things if it can even. and is the right place to ask.

1. get turn by turn navigation, like tom tom , or the new droid
2. be able to watch streaming videos online, like a flash player, or watch live tv things like that. say a basketball game is on and want to watch it. like u can on the computer.
3.and how can i tether my 3g internet to my computer.
4. and just what other cool things can u do with it.

1: There is a Tomtom app in the Appstore

2: I don't know that there are any options to stream video to the iphone, although there are options for streaming video from an iphone. I don't know of anywhere you can watch tv in real time online without a subscription to something, iphone or not.

3: PDANet. I've never used it. It's supposed to work well.

4: Google "Winterboard." I don't use it, but a lot of people do.

1. Go to iTunes and buy them.
2. There's a player thru cydia that plays many diferent video codecs but I'm not sure anything does flash for the iPhone at the moment.
3. Add the sinful iPhone repo and install the tethering hack for your particular model.
You can do alot of additional stuff with a jb device. Search for threads about peoples favorite jb programs to find out what others like or reffer to as must have jb items.

for streaming tv, buy a slingplayer or eyetv, then buy the app and watch that way. for sports theres NBA League pass which I love and MLB@BAT.

For tethering use MyWi.

However it sounds like you want everything for free, if youre not cheap these things are all obtainable with money

dont know if u all know this or not, but im pretty sure i posted in the iphone hacks section, meaning didnt want any one to state the obvious, i know were i can buy all the apps in the world at, not cheap, just thought that was the point of hacking a phone. i asked a question, if u dont know the answer dont post, very simple.

Getting paid apps for free is just one of the many things one can do by hacking the iphone -- and it's something that's frowned upon at this forum. Read the forum rules, it specifically forbids discussing pirating apps.

Just Jailbroke, just joined the forum. Where does that "attitude" come from ?

If you think the point of Jailbreaking a phone is to pirate apps, as stated, you are in the wrong forum.

You won't get much help here with comments like this.

i jailbroke for wicked themes, being an amateur developer myself, i buy everything, no pirating, pirating is lame

you are in the wrong forum if thats what you want... navigation u can get tom tom from the app store, live tv you can't get but there are apps in cydia that have all familyguy southpark and futurama episodes on

iMobilecinema is a plug-in for mobile safari and works with about half the flash sites i've tested with (megavideo worked best)

iTVshows is a native app which streams or downloads but requires iMobilecinema and dtunes

yes, search google for the repositories, or look in the repo section in Cydia
