i just jailbroken, but chose not to install cydia...now what? can i access my iphone via SSH or no? if not how to i access file system with usb

i do..i want to enable things like numerical battery indicator, etc. and play around with the system files. i just didnt want it to install anything for me (cydia)

the software iphonebrowser looks just like what i want but its windows only

ifuntastic would be good but its horrible software and wont do anything unless i pay for it

"disk for iphone" seems to do what i want..
