i just bought a 2.0 ghz white macbook and i'm loving it so far (except for the heat! it gets hot!), but buying it was a whole other story. my first macbook screen wouldn't turn on. so i called headquarters and they told me to go to the local store and exchange for a new one and refuse if they want to fix it (thought this was old). Local Apple exchanged it and the next apple had a dead pixel which was annoying! they exchanged it and now i have a macbook with a perfect and beautiful screen!

but still the heat from the laptop is intense. i sweat from just being near it. :(

heat? check the rear vent if its being blocked by a clear plastic or not.

mine and 2 of my friends are not having a heat issues. yes they're hot and warm, but not as bad as everyone on the web saying.
