Hey guys I have just noticed this and its driving me insane (ocd much?)

I dont think its a problem with the screen itself, more like something ontop, i have tried polishing it with a screen cleaning kit and buffing cloth, tried scratching it lightly with my nail but nothing seems to budge it.

When I try scratch it, it seems to be ontop of the screen but i cant figure how to remove it, any ideas ?

Camera seems to make it look worse than it is when screen is off

Thanks!

@TheRealDamager
Its appeared in the last 1-2 days, iv'e tried putting some cleaning solution on a microfibre cloth and holding it on for a minute or 2 but no change

@DetroitDrillSGT
Can feel it, its like a tiny tiny lump, thought it was just dirt at first, but im unsure now

Looks like a "burn mark" that I had on my old Thinkpad screen. It was probably caused by too much pressure on that point. Unfortunately, there's nothing you can do short of replacing the screen. I hope its not the same thing I had. Good luck.

2 months later but i took it back and they are going to replace the whole lid. They just looked at it and said " looks like a imperfection, when do you want it replaced? ".

Apple has such good customer service
