Just ordered a macbook :D

I just ordered a 2.0ghz macbook with the superdrive off amazon. Unfortionently it says the estimated ship date is July 17th - 31st and thats even using the two day shipping option. Man I hope not or Im gona have to cancel Figure its at least worth a try for the extra $100 off. Has anyone else orded one recently from amazon?

Other then that I cant wait to get it. Wish me luck with it hopefully none of these bad flaws we keep hearing about as it will be my first ever mac

Well know that amazon always gives you the worst possible scenario shipping time, so don't worry too much.

I would expect you get it within the week before estimated.

ill be extremly happy as long as i get it before july 3rd as thats the week I leave for vacation. I had it shiped to my dads buisness so someone will be able to pick it up incase it comes that week.

Just ordered one today as well. A white 2ghz w/ 1gb, 80gb hd, and mini dvi-vga adapter. Also went with the AppleCare and scored a free 2gb black Nano and $50 of office student teacher edition. Lord knows I dont need another printer so I skipped that offer. Hopefully it wont have any problems. Ordered it directly from Apple, got a estimated ship date of the June 23 and delivery by the 29th, hopefully theyll be faster as I too leave for vacation the week of July 4th.

I ordered one from the online Apple store, using my student discount. I opted for the two day shipping option, but its saying I'll probably receive it June 26. Sucks, because I leave for summer semester saturday. I hope that I receive it sooner.

I just noticed the black macbook was in stock on amazon and decided that it was worth it to upgrade expecialy with these reports of the white ones showing discoloration and I'm planing on keeping this laptop for a long time. Not to mention the bigger drive. So I went ahead and canceled my whitebook order.
