I cannot wait. I hope I get it before the weekend comes!

Any tips on what I should do? Any good programs or anything I should get?

Congrats on the order... the free ipod and printer are a great deal, I just picked up my 2.4 ghz mbp last week under my edu discount

as for good programs to start off with, there is a beginners guide to mac on the top of this forum section

:apple:

I was just looking at the mac that you got, and I can't seem to find where you found it? 2.16ghz is $1,299 at min, and then you upgraded the HD to 160gb, how did you get it for $1,266??
and the superdrive 8x is on MBP's not MB's

There is a $100 off with the education discount. :)

I found out why, my credit card had a limit on it. It's all fixed now!

my sister and I ordered MBP's for college, and my parents' credit card company DID call to ensure we had made the $4,000 purchase, and not some thief hahaha

haha, it makes sense, they get kind of worried when someone starts dropping mad cash at the apple store...

i bought my 2.4 mbp w/free ipod/printer + .mac + 3 year apple care + ms office + speck hardshell case... more expensive than i originally thought

My order was being held too because the credit card company wasn't sure if it was fraud or not, luckily it was caught in time (card was declined that day when buying gas which prompted a call to the company) and it didn't delay anything at all. Phew!

How much was that?

4g's. Pricey, I know. But imho I think I'd rather buy from Apple than an online retailer or big box store (future shop/best buy are a disaster here). Plus I get to sell the nano/printer and get the rebate money back to retain some of my costs, so in the end itll be around 3,500. Not bad considering a 2.4 ghz mbp alone is 2,799 canadian (not including tax).

Plus, buying through the Edu discount allowed me to save on the laptop AND Apple Care.

I'm debating on if I want to sell the printer. I mean, I don't use it a lot, but it would be nice to have it. I ordered the Canon iP4300. It has a photo maker thing in it too.

As for the iPod, I'd like to have it, but I want to get $200, not $100 on eBay 'er something.
