It's my first Mac, a 2.4 GHz Macbook pro with matte screen. I also got a free printer and $200 off a 30GB Black iPod. I also ordered a Neoprene sleeve and a Mighty Mouse to go with it. I can't wait for it to get here. Estimated delivery for the Macbook Pro Aug 8th-15th. Everything else is scheduled to arrive on Jul 30th - Aug 2nd.

Of all of the computers I've owned (starting with a Commodore VIC-20 when I was 12...), my MacBook Pro has by farrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr been my favorite.

Why is that? You don't like the mighty mouse or just think it's unecessary? I should have said it was the wireless mighty mouse. I got it because I think it will be good for use at home on my desk. And for the little bit of gaming I do I think it will be nice to have.
i have two wireless mightymice, one for my desk, on for my computer bag, they are great the scrolling wheel is like the best thing ever, its got 4 buttons, its great

I've been wanting to since last fall. I was going to get a black macbook and was waiting on "Merom" then decided to wait until Macworld and see what they came out with. Then just kept waiting and then decided to get a Macbook Pro. Kept saving my money and then saw that Santa Rosa was coming out with LED screens and rebates for an ipod. Now I finally got one.
Everyone keeps saying that. I was determined to install it and install this copy of Office 2003 that I have and for that reason only. But I'm going to try and hold out on doing that if I can.

Cool, I think I'll like it. I'm sure I would miss a mouse with long sessions on my Macbook pro at my desk.
It's a pretty good browser, but I prefer Firefox on OSX myself. It's a little less bloated than Firefox, but browser compatibility gets to be an issue here and there... some sites look very strange on Safari.
I just think that the mighty mouse sucks. I really can't stand using it, but like i said, I think it's a personal choice/preference since others seem to enjoy it.
I hope I like it. It arrives tomorrow before anything else and about 2 weeks before my Macbook pro.
Ah the waiting game. I'm glad I realized they charge tax online as well, so I just went to the store and bought it. Had it home and playing with it same day.
