I figure this will be the perfect solution for them. They just use their computer for we browsing, digital photos, hooking up the ipod, and the occasional small video(like youtube). Their old computer is an aging Rambus powered p4 Dell that is definitely showing its age. But, they have a nice monitor, keyboard, etc, and space is a huge concern where they keep the computer(20inch iMac is just too big).

Here is to them getting a nice Xmas gift and to me not having to do over the phone computer help house calls because of virus infections :p

That's a perfect X-Mas gift for agéd parents…

I was thinking the same thing, but probably won't get around to it.

I did it for my parents in Feb 2007, they could not be happier. I replaced one of those HP's Ford Motor Company gave all the employees when Microsoft Windows Me (Me standing for Millennium Edition), came out. My brother spent countless hours keeping that thing going. He moved out of town in Feb and my parents called me. I left my house went to the mall picked one up and they have not called me for there computer again. Okay, okay okay they did call once I had mom reach around to the back and depress the power button. A fresh restart fixed it. Those darn grandchildren... You're saying a fresh restart fixed it and double posting made this :D

The grandchildern had open too many windows and had the beach ball going, as for the double post. I'm not following you.

Go and re-read through your earlier post about the FoMoCo Hp computer. You duplicated the paragraph twice in that post.
