Hey guys, despite many different issues including freezing, and screen gradients and such, I've just ordered my 20 inch 2.4ghz imac with 2gb ram!
Will be paying 1250AUD for this baby, as I can claim it as tax deductible, and i have an edu discount :p.:rolleyes:
Just prayin I dont get a screwed machine, if I do Ill just take it to the uni and they will replace though, so i think i should be safe. Been browsing these forums for months to make this decision, was considering a mac pro for a while, but they seem very overpriced... 4000 bucks baseline???(AU):mad:

Cant wait! should arrive in 12 days

please fix the freezers apple......

Hey! You'll love the new iMac. Don't worry about the freezing issue. Only some people have them. I myself do not; however, I have the base model with X2400XT so I don't know if that is affected. Most people I hear have the 2600 card.

Make sure you calibrate your screen when you get it. You would be too happy to realize that your screen is indeed washed out at first. You wouldn't realize until you calibrate. Only then will you see a world of difference.

Take some pix when it arrives!

Is this your first Mac? For me it is. I just got it last week and I've been loving it every minute. I'm still learning what common apps people use and stuff :p
