Heey everybody i just ordered Photoshop, after effects and flash!
I really wont to get good, so i would ask some people with experience, where´s the best tuts? and what did you do to be good? do i need to buy any plug-ins, wacom or anything?

Btw, why did you order them right away instead of trying the 30 day trials first, as you seem to have no experience with that software yet? And plug ins are not needed at first, just get the hang of it and if you found the software lacking at some point and it doesn't achieve what you want to achieve, there probably is a plug in to help you out.
An external graphic tablet might be of help to, just make sure you can handle it by maybe buying a smaller and cheaper one (Bamboo) and see if that is what you want.

Sometimes. the Bamboo touch, which is okay for its size, but I can never really warm to a tablet though. Maybe if I would do more with PS, I could learn to love it. I got PS via student discount as I don't make a living with PS and I dabbled with the AE trial and twenty tutorials.

Though I like using the tablet when I colour corrected a video in Combustion.

Mess around with all the buttons and tools before going into the tutes so you get a grasp of names and what does what. It will speed up your tutorial learning progress 10 fold. Good luck

Hey, that's awesome. I work for Adobe are you going to install CS Review and the other CS Live features?

Discount??:D

Hey Hermes Monster, CS Review and CS Live are actually complimentary for 12 months following the installation of CS5. While the final pricing of for-purchase subscriptions is not yet determined, it is currently estimated at US$19.99–$29.99 per month or US$199–$299 per year.

Thanks - but I want Photoshop or illustrator - the live services won't be much use otherwise :p

What exactly is CS Live good for though?? I haven't touched it.

And Adobe employees get incredible discounts. I got PS, Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects and Acrobat for much less than 1 copy of PS from a friend that works there. Full Retail with licenses. It's a lovely deal.

How did I get good? Use it every day. Check out tutorials until you can make them on your own. And use it every day. Oh. And use it every day.

CS Live is currently a useful tool for designers, but can also be used to lighten workflow, and collaborate across the entire design process. each component is different, but it's complimentary for 12 months if you'd like to try it out for yourself.
