According to Apple's quarterly release, they made $5 million in revenue on 270,000 phones. That works out to about $18.51, or 3.4% of the purchase price (assuming an average price of $550.)

There was a lot of discussion earlier about speculation on Apple bringing in hundreds of dollars per phone. Is this revenue reasonable? Too much, too little? Just right?
