iPad Just picked up iPad 8

Hey all,
I just picked up an iPad 8 for $250 from a buddy of mine. I feel like I got a great deal. It still has AppleCare and it’s the cellular version. This is still a good device in 2022 right? I’ve been using it solely for pubg mobile and it hasn’t had any hiccups. I feel like the screen doesn’t get that bright, but maybe I’m use to my iPhone 13 Pro Max screen brightness.

Are their any opinions on this variant? Any known issues for these iPads? Any recommendations?

If you need cellular it's a decent deal. The only downside is storage. The iPad 9, often sold at $250 on sale, has double the storage. 32GB is really tight....

We don’t know if he got the 32GB or the 128GB version, though. But yeah, unless you’re only streaming Neflix or other similar low storage needs, 32GB is tight.

Mind, I think the usual sale price of the iPad 9 64GB WiFi is $290-310. I don’t think I’ve seen it for $250 yet. The iPad 8 and 9 are not that far off in terms of performance. If they’re around the same price, I’d get the one with more storage.

It’s 128GB variant and it has cellular service. I just took over the line. And I have been playing pubg mobile on it since I got it. And it runs like a champ. Editing videos, watching movies, playing games and all the fun stuff. No issues at all.

Given that a new 256GB cellular version of the iPad 9 is over $600, that's indeed a great price.
