Just picked up my first AS MBP! Was going to buy an MBA today, but Best Buy had the MBP on sale for $1099. It also is Tax Free weekend here in Florida which I did not even know, so the timing worked out great, so I got an MBP for $1099 even was really happy with that. Was prepared to spend $999 plus tax on an MBA today but it just worked out. Pretty happy with it so far, although I have basically just been using it as a desktop, super disappointing that I can't use all 3 of my displays, or even 2 for that matter, and then what's worse is the one display I can use, it won't let me go to 144hz, only 60 but oh well. Anyway seems really fast though. Bought this just to play around with Xcode, Logic, and the occasional iMovie project. Been a while since I have had a brand new Mac!

I run my dell gaming monitor at 144Hz without problem. Maybe the dongle/dock?
I use a OWC TB dock via Display Port. No issues at all

Maybe, however, at Best Buy I couldn't find a DP dongle. We may have the same monitor! Mine is a 27" 1440p 144 with g sync. I just got the Apple charging/hdmi/usb one. The guy said he did not know if a DP one existed, and I figure worst case, I can return the dongle in 45 days.
