I haven't tested this yet, but I will be trying it when I get home. I'm pretty sure only having 1GB of ram is going to hurt, though.

I'm going to guess it won't be slowing your mac down at all. Try it out.

It works for me, woot! I just needed the first tweak listed.

I'm posting this now from Windows XP in Parallels. I thought it was pretty zippy on my MacBook Pro, but man, it's *really* fast now.
