has this happened to anyone ?
they told me to go to the store i returned it and they can find it. man i hope so, im nervous

I’d rather have it all in one shot because I have a feeling you’re gonna need all the proof you can get your hands on.
Yeah I will do that. The lady scanned it in store and said I was good. Maybe she didn’t do the full refund ?

Wait, you returned a $1000 phone a year ago and you're just now realizing you never actually received the refund?
Yeah I noticed when I was going to chat with Apple to trade in my iPhone 7 to get the iPhone xs

If Apple truly forgot to refund you, they will have to do so through their ‘back office’. Believe me, they will be able to go back and determine the transaction date of where the return was made and if it was authorized for the return, they will refund you if a mistake was made.

That’s what I’m saying. I know damn well I would be looking for that $1000 right away.
I never look at my bank statements which is my fault I’ll admit

The store said they will check their cameras and I hope they do find it !
It’s weird because I checked the serial number and it says it’s curerntly being used. Before I returned mine I took out the SIM card

You should check to make sure you haven't been paying for who knows what for who knows how long without even realizing it let alone utilizing it.

I’m guilty of this too - I have too much trust in my employer...Though, once my monthly bank statement comes in, I check off every deposit/credit in an Excel spreadsheet, eventually....I’m a couple of months behind on this...

& - TIP - when I’m owed a refund, I always create a reminder on my iPhone to check my back account a day or so after they say it should’ve been refunded.

Hope it gets sorted quickly. $1000 is a biggie...
