I want to dance....I want to win.....I want that trophy....

...is that all that's supposed to happen???

I'm confused. :(

ok, never mind then. lol, ya that is all it was suppose to say, sorry for the confusion. hmm, i guess that is a good sign that it needs work then huh:eek: oh, and to clear up, the 30 extra layers that i mentioned were to make the words apear and leave smoother.

what prgram are you using? no animation that simple should take 30 layers. get flash, and do the same effect with much better quality in about 20 seconds.

i was just using image ready, like i said, i was just playin around in class. plus my funds arent that great so getting new programs just for leisure isnt very economical for me.

Do some brainstorming for an actual good idea perhaps? Pull out a sketchbook and pencil if need be.

The whole process must have taken 3 minutes. I agree with the other poster, get a pencil and some paper. Good ideas don't come quickly.

ya if you guys would read a little close, i said that i was just playing around in class, i am sorry, i was unaware that this community is full of guru's. i will not post again until it is up to satisfactory. i apologize for waisting your time. I'll stick to the information threads

and ya, 3 minutes was about right. i just thought it was cool since it is my favorite movie.

It's not really that it's so bad. It's good but it's too simple, and kind of pointless and boring.

Technically I guess it's ok...

Wow, you people are not very nice...

He's learning a new program and he wanted to show off some of his work.

Nice job SublimeProgie. It's great that you are learning to use these programs.

I was thinking the same thing. Dont discourage the guy its good hes experimenting and trying new things

Lighten up, yo!

Geesh. Lots of heavy hands.

I think it's cool. I think the Pulp Fiction in the bottom left is a little hard to read. The font could be bolder and the contrast could be higher. Just some thoughts.

A certain amount of encouragement to experiment is good...but if I said that this was really good I'd be lying. Sorry.

Try this....don't bother with the animation aspect...you seem to be too focused in how smoothly the text comes in. Instead, why not try just overlaying all of the text at once, with no animation. Just a still image. Then, from there, experiment without being restricted by the animation.

You can play with the font, the colors/levels/etc of the background image, effects on the text, how different fonts work together, how different colors work together and maybe some filters.

While the animation can give things a 'wow!' factor, I think that just working with a still image would be the best thing you could experiment with here.

i didnt think it was a great thing either, i just thought i would drop it in. i guess i just have more to learn. thank you for all your encouragement.

Sorry if you got the wrong message earlier but showing off your work is never bad. Put it out there and see what people say, and when people make criticisms, learn from them! :)

on a side note, one of my really close friends lives kind of near you...in Three Forks (well...near you on a montana scale :p )

to do fade in/outs in image ready you make two frames at the start and end points (full and blank if that's the way its going for example) and then use the tween button to create the intermediary frames (you can choose how many) and set the timing.

But as mentioned above, this kind of thing is much better handled in Flash.

Or alternatively, use html to place the image as a background, and put the text animation gif (with transparency) in front of it. Much smaller file sizes and better quality.
