Just signed to ADC £59 one year iPhone dev - from people's experience, how long do these codes 'usually' take (please don't say the FULL 24 hours :( )... EAGER to code!!.

I can't speak from current experience, but I applied in March '08, didn't get approved until July '08, and after I paid it was 2 days before I had access to the portal.

And if you're eager to code, just code. Nothing's stopping you. Coding and the SDK is free. Start with the 2.2.1 SDK, which you can get now, then upgrade to the 3.0 once you're in the program.

Yes, but it's still VERY slack - 24 hours for what?. Do they have trained digi-chimps that write out the code by hand, and scan it and email to you?. It's COMPUTERS sending the codes... it's a bit slowwww lol.

You're new to all this so comments like that are probably not the best foot to be starting off on. You'll be better off showing a bit of patience or you are really not going to like Apple pretty quickly. :)
