Great shot! How close (physically) were you to the hawk? Looks like he's eating some other bird judging by the dangling foot there....cool :cool: :p

Yea, if you could shrink it down a bit that would be great so those with smaller monitors could fully see the photo all at once :)

Thanks for the link. You might try editing your first post to just have the link, or the 800px version, rather than the huge one that's there now.

EXIF data is imbedded in the image file. You can see it using a variety of programs, photoshop, for instance (on both Macs and PCs).

With my Mac, using get info from the finder, I can get EXIF data also.

Wow, that is close, and brave of you I might add! Must have been quite an experience getting that close to a hawk, especially while it's eating. Isn't it an andrenilian (sp?) rush when you keep getting a step closer to see how close the animal will allow you to get to it? :D

I actually scared me pretty bad, I was real close and it started flappng it's wings... I just about fell on my butt. Those talons look pretty sharp lol.


Yah, guy I am a complete novice. I would however like to get better!

It's all good man :)

I actually decreased brightness and that pic and upped the contrast...

I liked the look of the rich dark colors.
