Just sold my 3,1 2008 MP :(

Wow, after 4 years of ownership, I just sold my 2008 mp, and sold it what I bought it for 4 years ago.
Unbelievably good machine. : D
Only sold it cos I wasn't using it anymore, and i gotta add that when i sold it, it contained an upgraded gtx 470. But bloody hell, the box sold for well over 2K us, and included nothing but the box.

Those 2008's were great value for money, and are still a great box.

Hats off to the 2008 mp, you will be missed.

what was the CPU config, because that seems a generous price. I just bought a dual cpu 4,1 for much less than that.

Got a 2013 iMac 27", but keeping my good ol' Mac Pro 3,1 (16 GB RAM, SSD, Radeon 7950) for fun's sake ;-)
Great machine for occasional gaming.

I bought it in 2009 for 2k including the gtx 285 mac card, still have that card lol. And upgraded it a few years ago to the gtx470 mac. That's about the only upgrades I did. Great box though, and it was spotless.
