I use this unlock service https://www.swiftunlocks.com/, cost $1.99 pay thru paypal, and get my 5s unlock in 4 hrs

I did not restore my 5s, I just insert my tmobile sim, plug in to itune, phone ask for activation, after I put in my itune login info, the unlock message show up.

Piror to unlock, I also check my unlock status from http://iphoneimei.info/ and is show my imei is locked, right after the $1.99 unlock, the site show my phone is unlock.

Sprint iPhones cannot be unlocked to run US GSM carriers (T-Mobile)
Right, which is why I was asking that question as he seems to be having some difficulty unlocking it. He mentioned that he's using a T-Mobile SIM, but that doesn't automatically make his phone a T-Mobile phone.

Note that I posted this before reading that he had gotten an IMEI unlock. So, I suppose that means it's NOT a Sprint iPhone.

Actually he doesn't have a problem unlocking, he is just stating his unlock procedure for his 5S.
