On 15.2, I was able to go through 8 hours and my battery would still be at 50-60% from 85%

Now, on 15.4.1, I went from 85% down to 65% in 4 hours.

I just updated yesterday. This is crazy. Why can’t they just keep the same stuff?

8 hours of use and 25-35% drains seems unrealistic. I get 6-10 hours of screen on time each day on a full charge. The range heavily depends on what I am doing on my device.

Well known - after and update IOS spends a couple of days re-indexing and updating other stuff. As said wait a few days before really knowing what battery usage will be.

I'd wait a few more days - but it could also be that 15.2.1 didn't support 120Hz in all apps like 15.4/15.4.X does. I definitely do notice a battery difference.

It runs way worse , battery drain on my 13 pro max is way higher then when I bought it at launch and I mostly use it with phone calls and not on hands-use which is dissapointing. Apple keep failing bros !

iOS/iPadOS 15.4.1 is indeed worse in term of battery life compared to other versions on both my 13 PM and iPad Pro, especially in standby. For some reason on both my devices, the battery decrease from 100% to 95% just in few hours in standby and on iPad, I can see the % decrease in minutes when I use it.

Add me to the list here. I’ve been using 15.4.1 since it was released and my battery life is absolutely awful on my 13 Pro Max. This is the worst battery life I’ve gotten since I’ve owned the phone.

I have ran into similar observations with my ip13pm
Has it settled down yet? If not maybe do an encrypted backup to your Mac/PC and do a DFU restore. And restore the data using the backup you just made. The only thing you might need to setup after would be Face ID.
Battery life on my 13 Pro has improved considerably about 24hrs post update.
