Hey guys i just upgraded to yosemite
I have a 2014 2.6GHZ MACBOOK PRO RETINA
The computer is barely a month old and has barely anything on it.
So I decided to update instead of a clean installation.
The thing is after the update my battery life has taken a hit , it shows a battery life of only 6 hours as to before where it would show 9/10 hours.
My brightness is minimum and only app running is safari.
Secondly my temperature is now around 55*C while before it use to be 45*C
Is this normal?

If you've just upgraded, spotlight could be doing a re-index of your drive which will impact on battery life and temperatures.
