iPad Pro Just wandering

I live in my motorhome, I use a iPad Pro 3rd gen. OS is 13.1.2 and a 2019 Macbook Air OP is macOS Catalina. I use the mail app. When I move my mail files to different mail folders, they disappear, they are not there. This started a couple OS updates ago. I added a Storage Mail File to save the emails I want to Save. That works OK. Also when I move emails to the Trach File it it's not there either. Thanks teqmter
